Two Step Ladder Poem of Confidence
In a world of dreams, where hope takes flight, There stands a ladder, reaching for heights. Each long step is, a journey to embark, From delayed gratification to a resounding spark.
The first step is patience, a virtue to embrace, My disability may have challenge at its own pace. Yet within every struggle, lies hidden grace, Transforming limitations into an empowering space.

The Poem of Trying To Read
In pages filled with letters, I stumble and sigh, A child with a longing to read, but oh, how I try! Words looked like letter close together page on the page with no meaning, like a puzzling maze, My learning deficit a fog that obscures my gaze
Frustration fills my heart, like a storm brewing deep, As I grapple with words, their meanings to keep. But I refuse to surrender, to let failure define, For within me lies a spirit, eager to shine.

Sitting on the Edge of the Sand Poem
Sitting on the edge, amidst the grains of sand, As a child with a learning disability, I silently stand. Thoughts swirl within, like the ocean's mighty roar, Grief was not the first lesson, that's for sure.
I ponder the hurdles that life has presented, Challenges that left me feeling fragmented and dented. But in those moments of powerlessness, I grew, Learning resilience, strength, and a spirit anew.

Speak up for Help Poem of the Ability
In the halls of college, I found my voice, A strength within, to make my own choice. No longer afraid, I stood tall and spoke, embracing assistance for my disability, no longer feeling broke.
Through the disability program, a guiding light, I learned to accept help, to seek what's right. Not taking more time on tests, but finding ease, Trade school assistance, a pathway to seize.
